Drumstick (muringakka) in a 250 g pack, ozone washed. Drumstick adds a distinct flavour to Kerala dishes: cut into finger-length pieces for sambar and aviyal, cooked in muringakka theeyal, or simmered with raw mango in a coconut-based muringakka manga curry.

To eat, chew out the soft flesh and seeds from inside the pod and leave the fibrous skin.

Choose firm pods for cooking. Store drumsticks in the fridge, wrapped in paper or in a closed box, and use within three to four days.
